Become A Volunteer

Want to become a Volunteer Counsellor? We have the following requirements.

Age

Volunteers should be 21 years old or older.

Location

Volunteers should be in Joburg and able to travel.

Meetings

Conducted on the last Saturday of every month.

Training

Once the training is complete, a final assessment will be required on all applicants.

Background

Cyber security, Psychology , Mental health , Project & Campaign management .

Records

Background checks are done to ensure that volunteers do not have any criminal record.

About ASCSA

We are a non-profit organisation established to promote safe online behaviour and practices. We aim to encourage South Africans and the rest of the world to be more vigilant about practicing safe online habits and to view internet safety as a shared responsibility at home, in the workplace and in our communities.

 

Cyber Security is a public good. You don’t get as much of it if you try to only protect yourself as you do if you work to protect the whole #community
